Hey Hey Nice Butted Peoples! So, I thought I’d start doing a monthly newsletter of sorts just for funzies. I’ll cover Planner Shit, Home Shit, and Shop Shit each month.

Planner Shit

INSTAGRAM ACCOUNTS: I’m currently totally addicted to watching stories on Instagram. I watch every freaking day because I love to see little snippets of what people are doing. My current favorite accounts are SeeAmyDraw, Sugarbone and BlackBirdPrintCo. See Amy Draw has awesome stories, and inspiring planners. Sugarbone just posts pretty pink shit. BlackBirdPrintCo owner is fecking hilarious and she totally keeps it real, which I appreciate.

SHOPS: Currently totally digging AnniePlans Printables and JeseniasPrintables for all my insert needs. Annie’s got the most amazing collabs, and Jesenia’s inserts speak to my pink loving heart.

GO WILD

So, I sponsored a table and attended Go Wild. It was a wild ride. I got to meet some amazing Girl Bosses, and some amazing Llamas. Of course, where there were opportunities to take one million good pictures, I have like 4 blurry ones off my phone. The Lord is my Shepard. Thanks to these lovely ladies, I’m able to add a few pics here:

I think the conference was really well done. The hotel however, not so much. Super overpriced. Should the hotels continue to be that expensive, I’d likely have to pass on Go Wild moving forward. The ticket itself was $500. Add a $944 hotel bill (which was only the cost of the hotel and parking – no food, beverages, or other services- just 3 nights) and shit is really steep. Then add travel expenses, and time/materials/fees for table sponsorship and merchandise license…..it becomes cost prohibitive I think. In other words, I doubt I will recover these costs as a shop owner. Just my 2 cents…..errr 2 Thousand DOLLARS. Lol.

May Planner Faves:

Souffle Pens and Black Post Its. This shit is a match made in heaven. I’m using these to make my shorty grocery list each week before I actually meal plan.

MINC Machine No shit I freaking love this thing. If you want to foil shit or laminate it, this is the machine to go far. Far better built that other laminators I’ve used. Totally worth every dime in my experience. I use it constantly to set up my TNs and now, rings. Gasp! I use it for dashboards, pagemarkers, foiled stickers and vellum, and anything else I can find. Cannot recommend enough.

UN-DU. This is an oldie but a goodie. Been using the crap out of this. Not only to remove stickers, but all manner of other stuff. Buy something from the store that’s got an annoying ass sticker on it? Use this. Need to fix your planner tabs that you put on crooked? Use this. Need to remove a vinyl decal? Use this.

RINGS Punch. This thing is adjustable and will punch A5, Personal/WIDE, A6, & Pocket pages. So, no matter the size of the planner, this thing will do it. I love it.

Home Shit

Cleaning Videos: Ok, I’ve been watching The Six Silvas for cleaning inspo lately. She does clean and cook with me videos I love! She’s done some awesome looking recipes for pozole and tostadas I can’t wait to try. Also, there’s some kind of avocado cream thing she does I’m dying over.

Cleaning Products: So, now that I’m full time girl bossing it, I’ve got time to pay a little more attention to my home. (I’m lying now that I’m here all the time dirty shit makes me nervous. Lol.) I’ve found some cleaning products I’m loving so I thought I’d share.

Method: My fave is the Grapefruit All Purpose Cleaner. I will spray this on anything that stands still. Does a good job cleaning and smells amazing.

I’ve also got wood floors all through my house. I am dying over this Almond scented squeeze and mop stuff. This shit smells so good I can’t even. You don’t have to rinse it and it doesn’t leave streaks on my floors.

Does anyone have a good cleaning routine they like? I’m riding the struggle bus and would love some advice. I feel like I need to assign task to particular days, but I’ve had a hard time making that work in the past. Drop me a comment and let me know.
